Objectives
To provide students with a rigorous program in methodology, academic content, and clinical practical work, imparting solid knowledge of anatomy, diagnosis, treatment, and surgery for knee injuries, as well as the use of prostheses.
To provide high-quality scientific knowledge and clinical practice based on scientific evidence.
To facilitate learning through real-world cases and situations requiring concrete solutions.
To develop surgical skills that enable participants to successfully perform complex procedures in this field.
To train participants in professional practice through anatomical, clinical, and surgical training on live patients and cadavers, in order to achieve better outcomes in professional practice and higher levels of satisfaction among patients undergoing these types of treatments.
To ensure that graduates of the Master’s program acquire a transformative perspective on this field of medicine, enabling them to incorporate these techniques into their daily professional practice. To this end, clinical rotations have been designed with top-tier surgeons and professionals who are part of the Master’s program’s faculty.
Continuous learning under the ongoing supervision and mentorship of faculty members with extensive clinical and surgical experience. This guidance will be provided both through the online training platform—via videoconferences, case reviews, and participation in discussions—and in person during the clinical rotation.

Dr. Pedro Guillén García
Dr. Pedro Guillén García, der 1964 sein Medizinstudium an der Universidad Complutense de Madrid abschloss und 1986 an derselben Universität promovierte, gilt international als einer der führenden Spezialisten auf dem Gebiet der Sportmedizin. Seine berufliche Laufbahn wurde von zahlreichen Institutionen gewürdigt, darunter auch vom Spanischen Olympischen Komitee.
Am 18. Mai 1998 gründete er die Klinik CEMTRO, die nach zweijähriger Bau- und Ausstattungsphase von König Juan Carlos I. eingeweiht wurde. Seit der Eröffnung leitet Dr. Guillén die Abteilung für Traumatologie der Klinik.
